Compact Cylinder C(D)Q2
The SMC C(D)Q2 Long Stroke variant is a version of the C(D)Q2 compact cylinder with an extended stroke. It adds longer travel to the short design without giving up the compact-cylinder character.
The category covers about 900 double-acting cylinders with a single piston rod in various bore sizes and stroke lengths. Options such as built-in magnetic switches (for example A73, A93, M9) are encoded in the ordering keys.
Long-stroke compact cylinders are used when a greater travel is needed while keeping a compact design, for example for feeding, ejecting or positioning over longer distances. Built-in magnetic switches allow end-position sensing.
