The SMC MY1 series comprises rodless band cylinders in which the force is transferred from the piston to the external carriage via a mechanical band coupling. This design saves installation length on long strokes, as no protruding piston rod end is required.
The range covers several guide variants, including the standard MY1B version, the MY1C cross roller guide, the MY1H high-precision guide and the MY1M slide guide. More than 1,400 items are available in various bores and stroke lengths.
