This category groups rodless SMC cylinders, in which the load is moved by a carried slide instead of an extending piston rod. As a result, the overall length for long strokes is considerably shorter than for piston rod cylinders. Represented are the CY, MY1 and MY2 series.
With more than 1,577 items, the range covers magnetically coupled and band cylinders, including versions with a cross roller guide (MY1C). The range is complemented by service sets for maintenance of the individual series.
Categories
Rodless cylinders suit long travel distances with limited installation space, for example in transport, handling and linear axes. As no piston rod extends, the overall length stays compact even with large strokes. Band cylinders of the MY1 and MY2 series and the magnetically coupled CY series cover different guide and sealing concepts.
