Mini float switches are the compact design for small vessels and built-in use. The RLS-7000 and RLS-8000 series switch a normally open contact through a reed contact and use a polypropylene or polyamide housing.
The RLS-7000 is mounted vertically with a 50 mm sliding tube, the RLS-8000 horizontally through the vessel wall. The connection is a permanently attached cable outlet with a 1 m PVC lead.
The series is used for level signalling in storage and dosing vessels, for empty signals on condensate tanks and for OEM installation in devices and compact power units. With chemically demanding media the housing material decides suitability.
