About Mini float switches

Mini float switches are the compact version of mechanical level monitoring for small vessels and built-in use. The RLS-7000 and RLS-8000 series switch a normally open contact through a reed contact, the housing is made of polypropylene or polyamide and the connection is a cable outlet with a 1 m PVC lead.

What matters when choosing

• Mounting position: the RLS-7000 is installed vertically and works with a 50 mm sliding tube, the RLS-8000 horizontally through the vessel wall.
• Thread: M 16x2 or G 1/2 male, matching the existing socket.
• Housing material: polypropylene or polyamide. The choice follows the chemical resistance against the medium.
• Limits: up to 4 bar operating pressure, -25 to 80 °C, protection class IP 67.
• Cable: 1 m PVC permanently attached, this series has no plug version.
