About Male stud couplings

Straight screw in connectors join a hose or a plastic tube directly to a threaded port on a valve, cylinder or vessel. The group carries threads from M5 male up to R 1 male and works up to 16 bar. Every version is made of plastic, which keeps weight down and the joint free of corrosion.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: parallel G threads from G 1/8 to G 3/4 male, tapered R threads from R 1/8 to R 1 male, plus M5 male for small control lines. The port in the existing component governs the choice.
• Tube side: the barbed versions cover hose inside diameters of 3 to 25 mm, the push in versions tube outside diameters of 4 to 22 mm. The two figures are not interchangeable.
• Maximum working pressure is 10 to 16 bar depending on size and material. The larger push in connectors sit at the lower end of that span.
• Minimum working pressure of -0.95 bar identifies the versions that may also be used under vacuum.
• Material: polyamide (PA 6) or acetal copolymer (POM). The material governs chemical resistance and stiffness and is stated on every article.
