Drive Technology
The KTR Radex range comprises torsionally rigid disc-pack couplings for backlash-free torque transmission between drive and driven shaft. The programme spans sizes 20 to 85 and is split into the typical components hub, disc pack and spacer, which are combined into complete couplings.
Hubs are supplied unbored or finish-bored with fit and keyway to DIN 6885/1. More than 700 items cover different bore diameters, lengths and spacer arrangements.

Disc pack transmits torque torsionally rigid and accommodates shaft misalignment.
Spacer connects the hubs and sets the shaft distance.
Radex disc-pack couplings are used where a backlash-free, torsionally rigid connection is required while compensating axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment, for example on pumps, gearboxes and drives in hydraulic power units.
