Safety valve, TÜV type-tested, factory-set and lead-sealed, G 1/2", DN 8, 0.40 bar, brass

The valve responds at 0.40 bar and protects vessels and pipework against inadmissible overpressure. Its discharge capacity is 15 m³/h at nominal size DN 8. It is fitted through the G 1/2" thread and the body is made of brass.

Applications

In workshops, machines and test rigs the valve protects lines whose working pressure stays below 0.40 bar. The material brass also determines which medium and which surroundings are suitable.

Standards and conformity

As a type-tested component the valve carries the marking TÜV.SV...-882.8.D/G.0.31 CE0036 0,4 bar and leaves the factory lead-sealed. Later adjustment of the 0.40 bar set pressure is therefore ruled out.
