Corner safety valve, for compressed air and non-flammable gases, G 1-1/2", DN 22, 7.0 bar, gunmetal

Large compressed air receivers and headers call for protection with a sufficient discharge capacity. This corner valve with DN 22 and connection G 1-1/2" releases 630 m³/h at a set pressure of 7.0 bar. The body is made of gunmetal, the spring of spring steel and the seal of FKM. The permissible temperature range runs from -20 to +200 °C. The overall height is 140 mm and the face-to-centre length 46 mm.

Applications

Protection of compressed air receivers whose permissible working pressure is 7.0 bar. Compressor stations with connection G 1-1/2" and a flow rate up to 630 m³/h. Compressed air networks in workshops and production where the protection has to work without auxiliary power. Retrofitting of existing receivers whose safety valve in DN 22 is to be replaced.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.22.D/G.0,28 CE0036 7 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 7.0 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request.
