Push-in connector T type »NonPlusUltra«, Ø 8 mm, FPM (FDA), p = -0,99…25 bar, T = -20…150 °C, 1.4404, PU 10 pcs. The NonPlusUltra series combines excellent material quality with the best workmanship. All components are characterized by maximum tightness and optimized flow. Made entirely of corrosion-free and acid-resistant stainless steel with a surface roughness (Ra) < 0.8, they are extremely robust and easy to clean (can also be sterilized). Movable fittings are suitable for continuous movement due to a special swivel mechanism. The stainless steel unions have a wide range of applications, for example in process engineering, food and pharmaceutical industries, water-cooling, lubrication, gases, vacuum and clean room (suitable cleaning of the parts is the responsibility of the user). They are ideal for use in conjunction with our PUR hoses for food contact (FDA). Available on request with EPDM seals, EPDM seals with drinking water approval, suitable for cleanroom class 3 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and with colored ceramic coding.

About Union tees

A push-in T-connector branches a compressed air line or brings two lines together. The tube is pushed in without tools and released again through the release ring. The range covers tube outside diameters from 3 to 16 mm and working pressures up to 20 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Tube outside diameter from 3 to 16 mm. The size has to match the tube exactly, otherwise the collet will not hold reliably.
• Series: Blue Series, Blue Series mini, click-clock, metallica, NonPlusUltra and inox line are available. The series fixes the design and the material, so it pays to stay with one series across an installation.
• Material: plastic with nickel-plated brass, all nickel-plated brass, or stainless steel 1.4404 for corrosive surroundings.
• Seal material: NBR for ordinary compressed air, FKM, FPM at higher temperatures and in the FDA-compliant version where that approval is required.
• Pressure range: versions reach 10 to 20 bar working pressure and operate down to -0.99 bar, so they also suit vacuum lines.

Typical applications

• Branching control air to a second cylinder or valve inside a machine.
• Distributing compressed air in handling and assembly cells built with plastic tube or plastic pipe.
• Vacuum lines on suction grippers, since the connectors are rated down to -0.99 bar.
• Installations exposed to moisture or cleaning agents, using the stainless steel 1.4404 version.
• Small-bore lines carrying neutral gases and liquids as well as oil and grease.

Materials run from plastic with nickel-plated brass through all nickel-plated brass to stainless steel 1.4404, with NBR and FKM, FPM seals, the latter also in an FDA-compliant version. Operating and medium temperature are stated as -20 °C to 150 °C.
