Short-stroke Cylinder ND/NE
Single-acting short-stroke cylinders of the NE series move the piston rod by compressed air in one direction, the return stroke is provided by an integrated spring. The compact design delivers high forces with a small installation depth.
The range comprises more than 76 items with piston diameters from 16 to 100 mm and short stroke lengths typically between 10 and 25 mm. This makes them suitable for clamping, pressing and gripping tasks with limited installation space.
Single-acting short-stroke cylinders are used where short positioning movements with a defined end position are required in tight installation spaces. Through the spring return the cylinder assumes a defined base position on loss of pressure, which suits clamping and gripping operations.
