The SMC VXS2 series comprises pilot-operated 2/2-way solenoid valves for steam. Pilot operation uses the media pressure to assist switching and thus enables larger nominal sizes to be switched.
The valves are designed for the thermal requirements of steam applications. More than 196 items cover different seal materials and voltage variants.
Solenoid valves for steam are used in process and utility engineering, for example to control heating and cleaning processes. The pilot-operated design and temperature-resistant materials allow operation with hot steam.
