About Cross-fittings

Cross fittings join four pipe ends in one plane and save two separate tee pieces plus the connecting tube. The group covers pipe outside diameters from 4 to 28 mm and is rated for nominal pressures of PN 100 up to PN 630. Sealing is by cutting ring to DIN 2353.

What matters when choosing

• Pipe O.D. 4 to 28 mm: what counts is the outside diameter of the precision steel tube, not the bore. All four ports of one fitting share the same size.
• PN 100 to 630 bar: the very light series is rated PN 100, the light series PN 315, and the top of the group reaches PN 630. Match the nominal pressure to the design pressure of the circuit.
• Material galvanised steel to DIN 2353 across all 20 items. For media that attack galvanised steel a different fitting series is required.
• Spanner sizes AF1 and AF2 and the length L1 are stated on every item. They decide whether the fitting can still be tightened inside a densely packed tube bundle.
