Piston rod-free cylinder, double-acting, Magnet, Piston Ø 25, Stroke 2000, G 1/8, Working pressure 1 - 8 bar, Temp. -10°C to 80°C These double-acting cylinders can also be supplied with strokes greater than 5 m, providing the stroke length is approximately equal to the overall length. They are equipped with magnets as standard for indicating the position as well as pneumatic, adjustable end position cushioning. Limit switches and hydraulic shock absorbers can be mounted as add-on modules. Suitable for filtered (50 µm), unlubricated or lubricated compressed air. If lubrication is used, it must be continuous.

About Rodless cylinders

Rodless actuators move the load on a carriage running directly along the cylinder barrel. With no piston rod extending, the space required stays close to the installed length even at strokes up to 5140 mm. The 194 items cover piston diameters of 16 to 63 mm and work double-acting up to 8 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Set the stroke from the travel required, with 100 to 5140 mm available. On long axes, deflection and the maximum lateral load stated per item belong in the calculation.
• Piston diameter from 16 to 63 mm governs force and carriage stiffness. The force at 6 bar is listed per item as a cross-check.
• The series distinguishes the designs. ZRL1F uses a particularly flat piston layout, alongside ZRL1C, ZRL1S and the STD rodless series.
• Seal material is part of the speed calculation. Documented options are an oil-resistant plastic based on NBR, an NBR variant for speeds up to 1 m/s and a version with FPM.
• Check port size and minimum pressure. Ports run from M5 through G 1/8 and G 1/4 up to G 3/8, and working pressure starts at 0.5 to 1 bar depending on version.
