Coaxial valve pneumat. actuated, single-acting, NC, nickel-plated brass, temp. -20°C to 80°C, control pressure 4,2-8 bar, Rp 1 2/2-way coaxial valves, specially designed for automated industrial plant engineering. A low-price, compact, space-saving and reliable alternative to ball valves with a pneumatic rotary actuator. These valves have a full bore and - owing to the optimised design - only minimal flow losses. They are controlled by means of filtered compressed air.

About Coaxial valves

These 2/2-way coaxial valves switch the medium directly in the line and open the full bore, which keeps flow losses low. The group covers DN 10 to 50 mm with threads from Rp 3/8 to Rp 2 at operating pressures up to 10 bar. Compared with a ball valve plus rotary actuator, valve and drive together take up far less space.

What matters when choosing

• Thread and DN: from Rp 3/8 with DN 10 up to Rp 2 with DN 50. Nominal width sets the flow, the thread decides how the valve fits the existing pipework.
• Double-acting, spring-to-close or spring-to-open: the single-acting versions define which position the valve takes when control pressure is lost.
• Seal material NBR or FKM: NBR versions are released up to 80 °C, FKM versions up to 150 °C. The lower limit is -20 °C in both cases.
• Pilot connection: some valves offer 2 x G 1/8 with a direct NAMUR interface, others need an adapter for NAMUR. This determines whether the pilot valve mounts without extra parts.
• Body: nickel-plated brass throughout, suited to water, oil and neutral media in plant engineering.
