Process Valves
The SMC VX2 series comprises direct-acting 2/2-way solenoid valves for shutting off and releasing media flows. Switching is performed directly by the solenoid, so the valve opens reliably from a differential pressure of 0 bar.
The valves handle compressed air as well as further media such as vacuum, water, oil and steam. More than 48 items cover different seal materials, port sizes and voltage variants.
Direct-acting 2/2-way valves are used wherever a media flow must be opened or shut off reliably regardless of the applied pressure. Typical cases are compressed air control, vacuum circuits and applications with water, oil or steam in process engineering.
