The SMC VDW series comprises compact, direct-operated solenoid valves for water and air in 2/2-way and 3/2-way design. The valves switch electromagnetically and suit small flow rates in a confined installation space.
The range covers around 20 items including mounting plates as accessories. Direct operation works without a minimum pressure difference and allows switching also in the unpressurised state.
The direct-operated solenoid valve VDW opens and closes via an electromagnetically moved armature without pilot control. It therefore works independently of a minimum pressure difference and suits water and air at small nominal sizes.
