Level sensors deliver a continuous measured value instead of a switching signal. On the RLT-1000 a ring float moves along a resistance chain inside the sliding tube and generates a 4 - 20 mA standard signal from it.
Sliding tube and housing are stainless steel 1.4571. The five lengths cover sliding tubes from 150 to 400 mm, connected through a G 1 male thread and an angled DIN A plug at 12 to 32 V DC.
The RLT-1000 is used wherever the level has to be displayed or evaluated rather than merely signalled: on storage and operating fluid tanks, hydraulic and lubricant units and process water vessels connected to a PLC or control system.
