Festo round cylinders of the EG series are small, single-acting mini cylinders with a round body for confined installation spaces. They suit short strokes and low forces, for example in fine assembly and compact fixtures.
The product examples show small piston diameters from roughly 2.5 mm and short strokes of a few millimetres. Such cylinders are preferred where space and weight are limited.
Small round cylinders are used in fine assembly, in test and handling fixtures and in confined installation situations. Low installation space and low weight are the priority, while stroke and force are kept deliberately small.
