Push-in cartridge »Blue Series«, can only be pressed in plastic, for hose exterior Ø 8 mm, pmax short term 15 bar Push-in fittings series manufactured in plastic and nickel-plated brass. All parts are suitable for use with hoses, tubes or pipes made of plastic. Only recommended for use in combination with quick connectors of the Blue Series. Suitability testing for use with other series is the responsibility of the user.

About Press-in sleeves

A push-in cartridge is pressed into a prepared bore in a plastic part and turns it into a push-in port, with no thread to cut and no fitting to install. That saves space on housings, manifolds and valve carriers. Tube outside diameters from 4 to 12 mm are accepted at a working pressure up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• For tube O.D.: 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. The port grips the outside diameter of the tube, wall thickness does not matter here.
• Working pressure: -0.95 to 10 bar, with 15 bar stated for short periods. The vacuum figure covers suction applications as well.
• Mounting bore: according to the product text the cartridges can only be pressed into plastic. Metal housings call for a screwed fitting instead.
• Material and seal: plastic or zinc with an NBR seal, compressed air is the medium given. The range is not rated for liquids.
• Series: use is recommended only together with quick connectors of the Blue series, so that tube, release ring and collet match.
