About Electrically conductive hoses

Anti-static polyurethane hose drains electrostatic charge instead of letting it build up on the hose surface. That is required wherever a discharge would upset electronics or create an ignition risk. The four sizes run from 4x2.4 to 12x8 mm and are rated up to 7.24 bar at 26 °C.

What matters when choosing

• Hose O.D. and I.D.: 4x2.4, 6x4, 8x5 and 12x8 mm. The size follows from the flow rate needed and from the push-in connectors already in use.
• Working pressure at 25 °C and at 65 °C: both figures are given for every size, for 4x2.4 that is 7.24 bar against 3.45 bar. In warm surroundings the second figure is the limit.
• Surface resistance and specific volume resistance: these two values describe the dissipative behaviour. They are the figures to check against the earthing or hazardous area concept of the plant.
• Temperature range: -40 °C to 70 °C across the whole series, which also covers cold installation sites.
• Reel length and min. bend radius: supplied on 25 m reels. The minimum bend radius decides how tightly the line can be routed on robots and in drag chains.
