Airtec Solenoid Valves
Airtec solenoid valves in 5/3-way function provide five ports and three switching positions, including a defined centre position. They control double-acting actuators and allow stopping in the middle position.
The range covers more than 84 items of the KM series with G 1/8" and G 1/4" ports. Available are centre positions vented and closed with coil voltages from 12 V DC to 230 V AC.
With the vented centre position both actuator ports are exhausted, leaving the cylinder free to move. With the closed centre position the ports stay blocked and the piston holds its position. The choice of centre position depends on the required holding and safety function.
