Mechanical pressure switches of the SMC IS10 series detect the pressure in pneumatic systems and output an electrical switching signal when a set threshold is reached. The switching point is adjusted mechanically and the signal is provided via a contact.
The range comprises more than 50 items with various connection and output variants, including versions with plug connection and LED indicator. Mechanical pressure switches suit simple monitoring and interlocking tasks.
Mechanical pressure switches are used to monitor supply and working pressure, for example to lock a machine when pressure drops or to control a pump. They detect pressure without an external power supply for the sensing element.
