The SMC LAT3 series is an electric linear actuator in flat card motor design. The compact form factor suits positioning tasks in confined spaces, such as in measurement, testing and micro-assembly technology.
The range covers the LAT3-10, LAT3-20 and LAT3-30 sizes as well as the LAT3F version. Short stroke lengths and the flat profile distinguish the card motor from the larger belt and ball-screw actuators.
The LAT3 card motor is used where short, precise linear movements are required in minimal space, such as in measurement and testing or micro-assembly. The flat design allows installation in confined machine areas.
