Accessories for pressure gauges include shut-off and switching fittings used to connect, isolate and service measuring instruments. The range comprises more than 150 items, including shut-off valves, shut-off cocks and push-button cocks from Wika.
The fittings are available in brass, nickel-plated brass, steel and stainless steel 1.4571 with connections such as G 1/4" and G 1/2". Clamping-socket-spigot and socket-spigot designs allow connection to instrument holders and process lines.
Gauge shut-off fittings allow depressurised switching, replacement and checking of instruments during operation. Push-button cocks are used for brief pressure indication so the gauge is only loaded when needed. Material selection depends on the medium and corrosion load.
