Level switches monitor the liquid level in vessels and tanks and switch when defined fill levels are reached. The range includes versions with one or several switching points, some combined with an integrated temperature switch.
The devices are available with G 1" connection and insertion lengths of roughly 150 to 500 mm, with individual variants cut to length. Combined units join two level switching points with one temperature switch, for example with a response temperature of +70 °C.
Level switches are used in hydraulic power units, storage vessels and tanks to monitor minimum and maximum levels and to protect pumps against dry running. Combined units with a temperature switch additionally sense the medium temperature and can signal overtemperature.
