Where the limiting pressure should come from the control system instead of a fixed spring setting, a proportional relief valve takes over. This size 10 version follows an electrical command value up to a pressure rating of 315 bar and relieves up to 275 l/min. The pressure stage is built as a seat valve and is driven by external digital electronics on 24 VDC.

Application

Presses, test rigs and clamping circuits call for a different limiting pressure at each step of the sequence. With an electrical command value the control system changes that figure inside the sequence, so nobody has to adjust the machine by hand. Subplate mounting to ISO 6264 places the valve straight onto a manifold. The pilot paths P to T and P to Y are fixed by the symbol.
