Pressure and flow of a hydraulic power unit are set electrically here, without a separate control amplifier in the cabinet. The variable pump with 28 cm3 displacement reaches 84 l/min maximum flow at up to 280 bar operating pressure, and the on-board electronics close the loop on swivel angle and pressure from an analog command value.

Applications

The system is used in power units for presses, test rigs, plastics machinery and special purpose machines whose pressure and flow are commanded from the controller. Because the pump only swivels to the requested angle, surplus oil does not have to be dumped continuously across a pressure relief valve. Mounting is by the ISO 2-hole flange with a geared shaft (R) in clockwise rotation, and the through-drive stays free for a further pump. Hydraulic fluid HLP and FKM seals are specified for this system.
