A test rig that has to set swivel angle and pressure separately wastes power as heat across a throttle. The SYDFE1 control system in the PRA12KC3-0479-C0X0XXX version regulates the pump itself instead, working with an external pilot oil supply and a through-drive.

Applications

The control system is used in power units for presses, injection moulding machines and materials testing rigs, where holding phases and rapid traverse call for very different flows. Regulating the swivel angle cuts the losses during holding phases, because no oil is dumped across a relief valve. In a master and slave group one unit leads and the others follow its setpoint.
