If the operating pressure exceeds 1.70 bar, the valve opens without external control and lets up to 90.9 m³/h escape to the atmosphere. It closes again once the pressure has dropped. The G 3/4" connection in DN 10 and the body of brass determine the installation.

Only the factory set and lead-sealed version is supplied, the set value of this article is 1.70 bar. Fixed settings between 0.2 and 50 bar are available from the manufacturer. A test certificate for the setting and a version with NPT thread are available as options.
