Corner safety valve, for compressed air and non-flammable gases, G 3/4", DN 13, 14.5 bar, gunmetal

Every compressed air receiver has to be protected against inadmissible overpressure. This corner safety valve opens at 14.5 bar and blows off 429 m³/h without any control system taking action. The connection is G 3/4" and the nominal size DN 13. A gunmetal body and a seal of FKM allow temperatures of -20 to +200 °C. The height above the connecting face is 70 mm.

Applications

Stationary compressed air systems with a fixed set pressure of 14.5 bar. Vessels and pipework with female thread G 3/4". Plants with operating temperatures within the range -20 to +200 °C. Replacement of a defective safety valve of the same nominal size DN 13.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.13.D/G.0,28 CE0036 14,5 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 14.5 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request.
