Corner safety valve, for compressed air and non-flammable gases, G 1/2", DN 10, 11.5 bar, gunmetal

Every compressed air receiver has to be protected against inadmissible overpressure. This corner safety valve opens at 11.5 bar and blows off 204 m³/h without any control system taking action. The connection is G 1/2" and the nominal size DN 10. A gunmetal body and a seal of FKM allow temperatures of -20 to +200 °C. The height above the connecting face is 70 mm.

Applications

Protection of compressed air receivers whose permissible working pressure is 11.5 bar. Compressor stations with connection G 1/2" and a flow rate up to 204 m³/h. Compressed air networks in workshops and production where the protection has to work without auxiliary power. Retrofitting of existing receivers whose safety valve in DN 10 is to be replaced.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.10.D/G.0,28 CE0036 11,5 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 11.5 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request.
