Corner safety valve, for compressed air and non-flammable gases, G 1-1/4", DN 18, 9.0 bar, gunmetal

Compressor stations and compressed air networks are protected by a safety valve that works purely mechanically. This version in G 1-1/4" responds at 9.0 bar and discharges 528 m³/h. The nominal size DN 18 determines the discharge cross section. The spring steel spring and the FKM seal withstand the range -20 to +200 °C. The hexagon offers 49 mm across flats.

Applications

Protection of compressed air receivers whose permissible working pressure is 9.0 bar. Compressor stations with connection G 1-1/4" and a flow rate up to 528 m³/h. Compressed air networks in workshops and production where the protection has to work without auxiliary power. Retrofitting of existing receivers whose safety valve in DN 18 is to be replaced.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.18.D/G.0,28 CE0036 9 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 9.0 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request.
