Corner safety valve, for saturated steam and compressed air, G 1-1/4", DN 18, 2.0 bar, gunmetal

In steam and compressed air systems the safety valve is the last element of pressure protection and has to work without auxiliary power. This corner valve in G 1-1/4" responds at 2.0 bar and is fixed to that setting. Through DN 18 it discharges 155 m³/h of compressed air. The EPDM seal and the gunmetal body permit temperatures of -40 to +150 °C. The width across flats at the hexagon is 49 mm.

Applications

Steam boilers to TRD group 1 with a permissible pressure of 2.0 bar. Heat exchangers and steam manifolds with connection G 1-1/4". Vessels operated within the temperature range -40 to +150 °C. Plants where the component identification has to be presented for acceptance.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.18.D/G.0,28 CE0036 2 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 2.0 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request. The version is approved for saturated steam and for steam boilers to TRD group 1.
