Corner safety valve, for compressed air and non-flammable gases, G 1-1/2", DN 22, 16.0 bar, gunmetal

Large compressed air receivers and headers call for protection with a sufficient discharge capacity. This corner valve with DN 22 and connection G 1-1/2" releases 1347 m³/h at a set pressure of 16.0 bar. The body is made of gunmetal, the spring of spring steel and the seal of FKM. The permissible temperature range runs from -20 to +200 °C. The overall height is 140 mm and the face-to-centre length 46 mm.

Applications

Stationary compressed air systems with a fixed set pressure of 16.0 bar. Vessels and pipework with female thread G 1-1/2". Plants with operating temperatures within the range -20 to +200 °C. Replacement of a defective safety valve of the same nominal size DN 22.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.22.D/G.0,28 CE0036 16 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 16.0 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request.
