Corner safety valve, for saturated steam and compressed air, G 1-1/2", DN 22, 11.5 bar, gunmetal

Large boilers and vessels need a correspondingly large discharge cross section so that the pressure really falls in a fault case. This corner safety valve with DN 22 and connection G 1-1/2" releases 990 m³/h of compressed air as soon as 11.5 bar is reached. The gunmetal body and the spring steel spring stay dimensionally stable across the range -40 to +150 °C. The overall height is 140 mm.

Pressure vessels in plant engineering with nominal size DN 22. Protection of headers with a discharge capacity of 990 m³/h. Test rigs and experimental setups limited to 11.5 bar. Installation in tight spaces where the corner design with 46 mm face-to-centre length saves room.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.22.D/G.0,28 CE0036 11,5 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 11.5 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request. The version is approved for saturated steam and for steam boilers to TRD group 1.
