About Branch tees

A T fitting puts a branch straight into an existing line without the need for an extra manifold block. The group takes tube outside diameters from 4 to 12 mm and works up to 25 bar depending on version. Thread and material decide where the fitting may be installed.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: from M5 male through G 1/8 and G 1/4 male up to R 1/2 male. The existing port on the valve, cylinder or manifold governs the choice.
• Tube side: for tube outside diameters of 4 to 12 mm, with hose inside diameters of 2 to 10 mm stated on part of the range. Hose needs both figures checked, plastic tube only the outside dimension.
• Material: nickel plated brass, stainless steel 1.4404, POM or PA. Stainless steel for aggressive surroundings, the plastic versions where light weight matters.
• Pressure: maximum working pressure is 16 to 25 bar, the remaining articles carry a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar. For vacuum duty the minimum figures of -0.98 bar and down to -0.9 bar apply.
• Operating temperature starts at -20 °C and reaches from 60 °C to 300 °C at the top end depending on version. The plastic versions sit at the lower end of that span.

• Branching off to a second cylinder from a continuous compressed air line
• Connecting a gauge or pressure switch without a manifold of its own
• Feeding several blow off and cooling nozzles on one machine in parallel
• Retrofitting a measuring point into an existing installation
• Vacuum lines on suction cups, provided the version is released for negative pressure

Sealing is by NBR, available silicone free for paint shop areas. Production takes place in Italy and Germany, and the value line series is included as a separate version within the group.
