About Pressure gauges for welding applications

Bourdon tube pressure gauges in welding design indicate the pressure on equipment and installations for welding and cutting. The case measures 63 mm in diameter and carries a pressure relief opening in the back, the connection is a G 1/4 male thread. The four versions cover full scale values from 2.5 to 315 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Measuring range: full scale values run from 2.5 to 315 bar. Working pressure should sit in the middle part of the scale so the reading stays clear and the measuring element does not work permanently against the stop.
• Gas type: the gauges are built for oxygen and for acetylene and marked accordingly. The instrument has to match the gas of the installation.
• Thread: G 1/4 male throughout, connection radial at the bottom. The range therefore fits common pressure regulators without an adapter.
• Case: steel in brass colour with a pressure relief opening in the back wall. That opening needs free space behind the instrument.
• Medium temperature: -20 °C to 60 °C is documented. Hotter media have to be thermally decoupled ahead of the gauge.
