About Bulkhead connectors

Bulkhead fittings take a pressure line through a wall, a front panel or a machine enclosure and are clamped in place with a nut. Every article combines two threads, thread 1 from M5 female up to G 1 1/2 female and thread 2 from G 1/8 male up to M54x2 male. The group works up to 60 bar and up to 150 °C.

What matters when choosing

• Thread 1, the female side, runs from M5 through G 1/4 up to G 1 1/2 and defines which line is connected on that side.
• Thread 2, the male side, runs from G 1/8 up to M54x2 and together with the wall thickness determines the clearance hole needed.
• Maximum working pressure lies between 25 and 60 bar and is stated per article. The bright brass versions sit at the lower end of that span.
• Material: brass CW614N, electroplated nickel plated brass CW614N or stainless steel 1.4571. The nickel plated and stainless versions are used where the pass through sees moisture or cleaning agents.
• Spanner sizes AF 1 and AF 2 as well as lengths L1 and L2 are stated per article. They decide how much room has to be left behind the wall for nut and tooling.
