Pipe double nipple 23, ET/ET, galvanised steel ST 37-2, R 1 1/4, Length 100 mm, Working pressure max. 50 bar The steel fittings are made of tubular steel to DIN 2441 and boast good resistance to mechanical stresses. Hot dip galvanised steel fittings are completely coated with a layer of pure zinc and are therefore protected against rust. They are used in pipe construction, plumbing and gas installations as well as a wide range of industrial applications, especially in conjunction with the popular malleable iron series.

About Steel fittings

Steel fittings extend, join and reduce threaded lines wherever mechanical loads are involved. All of them are rated for a working pressure of 50 bar and the range covers threads from R 1/4 up to R 3 male.

What matters when choosing

• Thread size follows the pipework. Male threads run from R 1/4 to R 3, female ones are available as Rp 1/4 and Rp 3/8.
• On double nipples the overall length decides how far the gap is bridged. Lengths from 25 to 200 mm are offered in steps.
• The finish follows the surroundings. Galvanised ST 37-2 steel is protected against rust, while bright ST 37-2 and black steel suit places where that coating is not needed.
• Maximum working pressure is the same 50 bar across all 147 items, so combining individual fittings involves no mixed pressure ratings.
