About Pressure gauges

These pressure gauges are display units for hand-held tyre inflators, supplied both as original equipment and as spare parts. They show the inflation pressure right at the point of use and are either screwed in or plugged in, depending on the version. The group covers the ranges 0 - 10 bar/140 psi and 0 - 25 bar/350 psi in case sizes Ø 63 mm and Ø 80 mm.

What matters when choosing

• Case diameter: Ø 63 mm or Ø 80 mm. The size has to suit the inflator housing, and the larger dial is much easier to read from a distance or in poor light.
• Measuring range: 0 - 10 bar/140 psi or 0 - 25 bar/350 psi. The usual inflation pressure should fall in the middle part of the scale, where the reading is most accurate.
• Calibration approval: there are calibratable and uncalibrated versions, and one item is explicitly supplied without calibration approval. Documented or billable measurements call for the calibratable version, while in-house use is served by the uncalibrated one.
• Connection position and thread: the port is at the rear or at the bottom, and the screw-in versions are specified with G 1/4 male thread. There are also gauges for plugging in, fitted into the inflator without a thread.
