About Replacement hoses

On a hand-held tyre inflator the hose is the part that wears out first, because it gets kinked, driven over and dragged along the rim every day. This group brings together 16 ready-made replacement hoses, all with a G 1/4 male thread on the gauge side.

What matters when choosing

• Connector type: lever plug, garage plug or quick connector. It has to suit the valves handled in daily work, otherwise the connection will not hold the inflation pressure.
• Shape of the gauge: separate versions are available for tyre inflators in pistol shape and for the standard design.
• Length 40 cm or 50 cm: the longer version also reaches valves on the inner wheel of twin tyres.
• Swivelling or rigid connection: the swivelling type keeps the hose from twisting as the connector is fitted, which is where it usually fails.
• Connection thread G 1/4 male is identical on all 16 items, so the hose fits any gauge with that thread.
