About Flat seal

Flat seals sit between the flat faces of a screwed joint and seal where the thread itself does not. They are the wearing part of the connection and get replaced every time the joint is opened. The group covers connection sizes 1/4 to 3 inch and is rated for operating temperatures from -20 °C to 200 °C.

What matters when choosing

• For thread: connection sizes run from 1/4 to 3 inch. What counts is the size of the fitting the seal is placed in, not the outside diameter of the pipe.
• Material: NBR with aramid fibres throughout the group. The fibre reinforcement carries the surface pressure while the NBR conforms to the sealing face.
