About Porting boxes

A distribution box takes a compressed air or water line and passes it on to several outlets, sparing you a manifold built from individual fittings. The glass fibre reinforced PA6 GF 30 body is screwed straight to a wall or frame through its mounting hole. All 13 items work up to 15 bar operating pressure.

What matters when choosing

• Version: with or without a through thread. The through distributor sits in a line that continues, the end distributor terminates it.
• Number of ports: the samples show 1 to 4 outlets in G 1/2. That decides how many draw-off points hang on one box.
• Inlet thread: G 1/2 or G 3/4 to suit the supply line. On the through distributor the same size applies to inlet and outlet.
• Material: glass fibre reinforced PA6 GF 30 with brass threads, for which a separate tightening torque is given.
• Operating pressure up to 15 bar on air and water, with ambient temperature stated as 1 °C to 50 °C. The box is therefore not intended for areas at risk of frost.
