About Male bulkhead connectors

Straight push-in bulkhead fittings take a compressed air line through a panel or enclosure wall. The plastic tube pushes into the front and is released again at the collet, while a female thread on the back picks up the next component. The range joins tube outside diameters from 4 to 12 mm at a working pressure up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• For tube O.D.: 4 to 12 mm. What counts is the outside dimension of the plastic tube or hose, not its bore.
• Thread: G 1/8, G 1/4, G 3/8 and G 1/2 female at the rear, chosen to suit the component connected behind the wall.
• Panel thread: M12x1 through to M22x1, matching the hole in the panel or enclosure. It grows with the tube size.
• Working pressure: -0.95 to 10 bar in continuous duty, with 15 bar quoted for short peaks. Size the system on the lower figure.
• Material: plastic or nickel plated brass with an NBR seal, released for compressed air.
