About Male branch tees
A push-in T-fitting takes a second outlet directly out of a running compressed air line, so no separate manifold is needed. The tube is pushed in without tools and released via the release ring. The range covers tube outside diameters from 3 to 16 mm at working pressures of 10 to 20 bar.
What matters when choosing
- Pick the thread to match the port. Parallel G threads run from G 1/8 to G 1/2, tapered R threads from R 1/8 to R 1/2, with M3, M5 and M6 available for small valve and cylinder ports.
- The tube O.D. follows the line, not the thread. Sizes from 3 to 16 mm are covered and most thread and diameter combinations are available.
- Material depends on the surroundings. Plastic with nickel-plated brass is the standard build, all nickel-plated brass the fully metallic version, stainless steel 1.4404 the choice for corrosive atmospheres.
- The sealant follows the medium. NBR covers plain compressed air, FKM or FPM suits higher temperatures and oil-bearing media, and the FDA-compliant FKM version is intended for food contact applications.
- Operating temperature starts at -20 °C and ends either at 80 °C or at 150 °C depending on the version. Above 80 °C, check the data table of the individual article.
