About Pressure transmitters
A pressure transducer turns the pressure in the system into an electrical signal that a controller can process. The range covers spans up to 600 bar and comes with process connections from G 1/4 ET to G 1 ET. Both the low pressure and the high pressure side of a plant can therefore be monitored with one series.
What matters when choosing
- Measuring range: the upper limit can be selected between 0 and 600 bar. Working pressure should sit well below it so that pressure peaks do not overrun the sensing cell.
- Thread: G 1/4 ET, G 1/2 ET and G 1 ET as well as G 1/2 IT follow the measuring port already in place.
- Housing material: CrNi steel 1.4571 or CrNi steel 1.4404, decided by the medium and the surroundings.
- Ingress protection: IP 65 to EN 60529 limits mounting to correspondingly protected positions.
- Medium temperature: depending on the type the range lies between -30 °C and 100 °C, which narrows the choice for hot media.
