Oil water separator »drukosep«, 3-level combi-filter, Max. compressor capacity 3.5 m³/min For compressor capacities up to 3.5 m³/min. Why treat condensate? Condensate is produced whenever air is compressed. The amount of condensate depends on the size and operating time of the compressor. The condensate produced by oil-lubricated compressors can contain up to 2000 mg of oil per litre! According to § 7a of the Water Resources Policy Act, this condensate must be treated in line with the latest state of the art before it can be introduced into the public sewer system. The maximum limit is 20 mg of oil per litre of water. If the condensate is not treated, it must be collected and disposed of by a specialist firm upon proof. »drukosep« separates the oil from the condensate with a combination of coalescence and activated carbon filters. The cleaned water can be discharged into the public sewer system, while the waste oil collects in the combination filter and can be disposed of together with it. About Oil-water separators

Compressed air generation always produces condensate, and with oil lubricated compressors that condensate carries oil. Oil water separators collect it and retain the oil fraction in a three stage combination filter so that only the water phase is discharged. The range covers compressor capacities up to 3.5 m³/min and includes the replacement filter sets and the oil test equipment alongside the units themselves.

What matters when choosing

• Max. compressor capacity: 1.5, 2.5 or 3.5 m³/min. What counts is the actual delivered volume of the compressor, not the motor rating. Sizing too tightly noticeably shortens filter service life.
• Vessel and filter element: the vessel is made of PE and PP, the filter pack of PP and activated carbon. Both figures are listed per item and decide how well the unit suits the condensate that occurs.
• Replacement filter set: each of the three sizes has its own set. The filter is a consumable and should be ordered together with the unit, otherwise treatment stops at the first change.
• Test equipment: oil test paper with 50 strips and a test glass belong to this group. They allow the residual oil content of the discharge to be judged on site instead of sending every sample to a laboratory.
• Installation dimensions: height, width, depth and weight are stated per item. The separator needs space below the condensate drains so the condensate can flow in without pressure.
