About Braided PUR hoses

Fabric reinforced PUR hose is used where plain polyurethane tube would be too soft. The textile braid carries the internal pressure, which allows up to 16 bar at 20 °C. Four sizes are available, from 10x6.5 to 16x11 mm, supplied on 50 m reels.

What matters when choosing

• Hose O.D. and I.D.: 10x6.5, 12x8, 13.5x9.5 and 16x11 mm. The bore sets the possible flow rate, the outside diameter decides which couplings and push-in connectors will fit.
• Max. operating pressure at 20 °C: 16 bar for the three smaller sizes, 12 bar for 16x11. The rating refers explicitly to 20 °C and should be used that way in the calculation.
• Temperature range: -30 °C to 60 °C. The lower figure matters for unheated halls and outdoor runs, the upper one for routing close to warm machine parts.
• Construction: cover, core and insert are listed separately for each item. The insert carries the pressure, the cover is the surface exposed to mechanical wear in service.
• Min. bend radius and reel length: the minimum bend radius limits how tightly the hose can be routed on the machine. The 50 m reel covers longer runs without a joint.
