PTFE hose, natural, Temperature range -60 °C to 260 °C, Hose Ø 12x9, PN at 20 °C max. 15 bar, Roll of 50 m PTFE hose combining excellent anti-friction properties with a high temperature resistance up to 260°C. Resistant to the majority of aggressive media. Extremely low friction coefficient. The hose complies with the requirements of the FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 food regulation.

About PTFE hoses

PTFE hose is used where temperature or medium is too much for an ordinary plastic hose. The material resists most aggressive media, slides very well and has an extremely low coefficient of friction. The temperature range runs from -60 °C to 260 °C.

What matters when choosing

• Hose diameter: six sizes from 4x2 to 12x9, given as outside by inside diameter in mm. The bore sets the flow, the wall thickness the pressure rating.
• Operating pressure at 20 °C: figures range from 42 bar for 4x2 down to 14 bar for 10x8. Size and permissible pressure therefore have to be considered together.
• Temperature range: -60 °C to 260 °C. One and the same line covers heated sections as well as low temperature applications.
• Reel length: supplied on 50 m reels. For short runs the offcut has to be allowed for.
• Colour: the whole group is natural. Colour coding of lines has to be done by marking rather than by the hose itself.
